Moving across the country and being first time home buyers in the CRAZY competitive central Texas market, we were highly dependent on finding a competitive and supportive realtor who could guide us through the entire process - even from several states away. We were truly blessed to find Terrie! Not only was she responsive and knowledgeable of our areas of interest (north Austin), but she was also flexible and always willing to set up multiple showings on the few weekends that we could travel to TX prior to buying. Terrie Sharpe did an exceptional job helping us find the perfect home. My wife and I relocated to Austin for work and were overwhelmed trying to decide where to live. Terrie spent months helping us figure out what made sense for us, guiding us through key decisions like:
- New-build vs. Pre-existing
- What town to live in, then what subdivision to prioritize
- What price range to look for to make sure we maximize value and stay in budget
Terrie's knowledge of the Austin market is impressive, but her ability to truly get to know her clients and guide them towards the right decisions makes her world-class. We spent months working with Terrie (remotely) with a target to close in early June 2022. Terrie helped us put together a plan to ensure we were prepared to execute (e.g., Identify target neighborhoods and price range by X date, Schedule trip for showings for X weekend, Aim to have an offer accepted by X date). Terrie spent HOURS with me on the phone digging into the details to make sure I was comfortable. Terrie always made it seem like we were her only clients, and I'm sure all of her clients would share that sentiment. When it came time to actually look for homes, Terrie drove us through all of our desired neighborhoods and lined up 10+ showings for us on the weekend we scheduled our visit. She also connected us with various lenders, contractors, and inspectors; then regularly went above and beyond to ensure we were being treated fairly. After finding us the perfect house, Terrie did a great job negotiating on our behalf. She worked with all parties involved to arrive at fair transaction terms for all involved, including a purchase price we were very happy with. She ensured all items that came out of the home inspection were addressed appropriately in time for closing. Terrie is the best agent we have ever worked with, and we are her clients for life.

Trust Terrie if you need a great real estate agent! My husband and I had the challenging adventure of trying to buy another home in Austin after selling ours in early 2021, and it was very difficult and discouraging as anyone else who tried to buy that year would know! Luckily, we had Terrie as our buyer's agent and she was truly a pleasure to work with! Because it was such a unique time to buy, we looked for most of the year since it was hard to find what we were looking for, without having the extra cash others were able to put down on top of super high prices. Terri was extremely patient, and understanding and we feel like she always had our best interests in mind! She always respected our priorities and budget when crafting offers. She truly wanted what was best for us, and we so appreciate her guiding us wisely through the process! In the end, we decided to move out of state actually, so we felt bad she spent so much time with us! She was so kind and understanding about that as well.
